The eagles are perfect right now. Good for thinking about things and life and where I want to go with it. As long as I don't lose my hearing (and I refuse), music will be the only constant. The few I love I might lose, and everyone else will come and go as they please. As much as I really hope no one is lost from me, it's just unlikely that everyone will remain around for my whole life. But music will (as long as this damn administration doesn't turn into some controlling government that won't let music survive lol) and I intend to make the most of it. I'm tired of this raw love for everyone and everything. I can't/won't be able to handle the expectations, the constant reliability, and the hurt. I'll stick to one or two close friends to love, maybe a significant other, my family, and music. Everyone else will just be there, around. I've already lost so much just caring about people. I can't cope with everyone else's pain anymore. I need to be loved too, so I don't have to hold up both ends by myself. I'm not gonna sit around being the one who makes everyone else feel better about themselves and their situations without a little emotional compensation. I'm just tired of it.

But I'll love in a general way. The way I love humankind as a whole and the way I feel disappointed when it doesn't live up to its expectations. The way I love the world for it's beauty and the way I feel regret at it's slow disintegration. <3 My mind hasn't lost that much to the world

I've got the half feeling of complete content/happiness/bliss against a minor, but still very evident feeling of insecurity. I hate those kinds of feelings (the latter). They're very inconvenient. I'm too busy and happy and confident to deal with things like that. Geez.
